Microsoft Introduces Ability To Respond To Comments In Word With Reactions
A new feature is being added to Word by Microsoft, which will allow users to react to comments in a similar way to the reactions feature in Outlook. The addition of a Like button in Word is intended to simplify the process of responding to comments for users.
According to Windows Central, the feature is rolling out to Current Channel (Preview) users with version 2305 or later, and is already available to web users and beta channel users.
To react to a comment in Word, users need to open the document and go to the comment section, then the comment section and click the “Like” button in the upper right corner.
It is likely that this document already has comments, and if not, users will need to create them. Additionally, the report mentioned that the tech giant has also stated that there are two known issues with the feature.
First, iOS and Android users won’t be able to see comment reactions, and second, the feature may not be available when editing old documents.
However, users should be able to react to new comments added to the document. Additionally, the tech giant added that the feature will be available to Word for Mac users in the coming weeks, according to the report.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has released a new Windows 11 development build that allows insiders to view their phone’s camera roll in the File Explorer gallery.
With the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build installed, users can add photos on their phone by clicking a new button added to the File Explorer command line.
